Acute pain

Tendinitis, recent contracture, inflamed area: cold brings the pain down and limits the inflammatory response.

After sport

Applied to the muscle groups that worked, it reduces the heat and heaviness that follow effort.

As a complement

I almost always use it alongside manual work, rarely on its own.

How the session works

I apply the cold to the target area in short, controlled passes, continuously watching the skin response. The session is brief by nature — cold acts fast, and pushing longer adds nothing.

Frequently asked questions

Does it burn?

No. I control distance and duration continuously and monitor the skin. The sensation is intense but brief and bearable.

Contraindications?

Circulatory disorders (Raynaud's), cold hypersensitivity, sensory impairment, broken skin. Please tell me beforehand.

Cold or heat for my pain?

As a rule: cold for acute, inflammatory pain; heat for chronic tension. We choose together during the assessment.

Other treatments

Therapeutic massageThis is not a relaxation massage. It is targeted manual work on the areas that are stuck: contractures, bound fascia, muscles that have been compensating for months.Cupping therapyCups create suction that lifts tissue instead of compressing it. That is what makes them effective where massage alone plateaus.Trigger pointsA trigger point is a muscle knot that hurts somewhere other than where it sits. That is why people so often look for the pain in the wrong place.Gua ShaGua Sha involves scraping the skin with a flat tool in a specific direction. The effect is superficial but powerful on circulation and fascia.Sports massage & recoveryBefore effort to prepare, after it to recover. The work is more dynamic than a classic massage and targets the muscle groups your sport actually loads.Osteopathic mobilisationsWhen pain keeps returning to the same spot, a neighbouring joint has often lost its mobility. Mobilisations give movement back to the level that is stuck.PressotherapyCompression boots inflate in sequence, from foot to thigh. They restart venous and lymphatic return — where manual massage cannot work as consistently.
